The Miracle League of Pa’s Laurel Highlands is open to individuals ages 3 and up with a variety of needs, whether it be an intellectual or physical disability. The league currently serves those from Fayette, Greene, Westmoreland, Washington, and Somerset counties. The MLPLH has grown from a small group in 1993 to over 100 participants currently.

Every player gets to bat each inning, is safe on the bases, and scores a run each inning. Depending on ability, the player can hit from a tee or a pitched ball. The Miracle League is more than just a game it’s also about making new friends, building self-esteem, and providing a support system  for families.

Players are provided with a team hat and shirt and should wear shorts or pants and tennis shoes to each game. The league has many bats and baseball gloves for use during the games, but players may bring their own if desired.

Players 18 years of age and older will be required to undergo a criminal background check.
